dc.description.abstract [eng] This thesis investigates the potential effects of climate change on the tourism industry from multiple angles: the relationship between the two phenomena, the health of tourists, its effect on tourism infrastructure and consumption patterns. Through a study of the existing literature and an example with a real case, the risks and challenges faced by the tourism sector due to extreme weather events such as heat waves, severe storms and changes in precipitation patterns are examined. It highlights the vulnerability of tourist destinations and the need for adaptation to ensure safety and a satisfying experience for visitors, as well as the need to carry out key actions to mitigate the negative impacts and promote longterm sustainability. ca
