Aproximació a la història corporativa del col·legi Monti Sion de Palma a partir de la seva revista escolar (1941-1945)

Abstract

[cat] En el present treball fi de grau s’analitzarà com el centre jesuïta Monti-sion utilitzava la seva pròpia història amb objectius purament comercials, ajudant a l’escola a competir i sobreviure en el mercat educatiu de la postguerra (1939-1945), un període en el qual Monti-sion va recuperar la seva hegemonia després d’anys d’inestabilitat i clausures. Per assolir els objectius plantejats, es durà a terme una investigació historicoeducativa mitjançant l’estudi de diversos exemplars de la seva revista Montesión, analitzant la presència en les seves pàgines d’elements històrics com mites fundacionals, antics alumnes, benefectors i fundació i evolució del centre.

[eng] This thesis will analyze how the Jesuit center Monti-sion used its own history with purely commercial objectives, helping the school to compete and survive in the post-war educational market (1939-1945), a period in which Monti-sion regained its hegemony after years of instability and closures. In order to achieve the proposed objectives, a historico-educational research will be carried out through the study of several copies of its magazine Montesión, analyzing the presence in its pages of historical elements such as founding myths, alumni, benefactors and the foundation and evolution of the school.
