Seminari de Formació sobre Prostitució al Grau de Història de la UIB

Abstract

[cat] D’ençà que la prostitució és cada dia una problemàtica de major envergadura, és necessària la formació dels especialistes sobre ella. Per aquest motiu, es proposa una intervenció enfocada als i les alumnes del grau de història de la Universitat de les Illes Balears (UIB) en matèria de prostitució. Emparat per la Llei Orgànica 1/2004 –on les Universitats han d’incloure i fomentar en tots els àmbits acadèmics la formació, docència i investigació en igualtat de gènere i no discriminació– i pel marc temporal de l’assignatura Història Contemporània d’Espanya des de 1939 fins a l’actualitat, aquest seminari inclouria una temàtica oblidada dins els estudis d’Història de la UIB. Des d’una perspectiva de gènere i amb l’objectiu principal de apropar la problemàtica a la població diana, l’actuació pretén servir per identificar, analitzar, relacionar, conceptualitzar i sensibilitzar tot allò relacionat amb l’explotació sexual. Demostrant, així, la hipòtesi defensada de que aquesta tipologia d’accions es consoliden com a motors d’aprenentatge i de posada en valor de temes poc convencionals a la disciplina històrica.

[eng] Since prostitution is becoming an increasingly important issue, it is necessary to train specialists in this field. For this reason, we propose an intervention focused on prostitution for students of the history degree of the University of the Balearic Islands (UIB). Under the Organic Law 1/2004 –where the Universities must include and promote in all academic areas the training, teaching and research on gender equality and non-discrimination– and the time frame of the subject Contemporary History of Spain from 1939 to the present, this seminar would include a forgotten subject within the studies of History at the UIB. From a gender perspective and with the main objective of bringing the problem closer to the target population, the action aims to identify, analyze, relate, conceptualize, and raise awareness of everything related to sexual exploitation. Demonstrating, thus, the hypothesis that this type of actions are consolidated as engines of learning and enhancement of unconventional topics in the historical discipline.
