L'impacte socioeconòmic i familiar en el rendiment acadèmic dels infants

[cat] La present investigació pretén relacionar el nivell socioeconòmic i familiar dels infants que cursen educació primària a les Illes Balears amb la finalitat de conèixer fins arriba la seva influència en el rendiment acadèmic. Per fer-ho, s'ha dut a terme un estudi mitjançant un formulari que ha estat enviat a dues escoles de Mallorca. Aquest, ha proporcionat informació detallada sobre l'entorn socioeconòmic i familiar dels infants, així com les conclusions acadèmiques. Un cop obtingudes les dades, s'ha fet una anàlisi per trobar relacions significatives entre les respostes rebudes. És important assenyalar que hi ha diversos autors i estudis que afirmen la importància del rol que l'entorn familiar i socioeconòmic exerceix sobre el rendiment acadèmic, cosa que s’ha fet servir per al fonament del marc teòric i de la investigació. Segons aquests estudis, la influència d’aquests factors pot variar segons el context. D'aquesta manera, encara que en aquesta investigació específica no s'ha trobat una connexió significativa entre el nivell socioeconòmic i el rendiment acadèmic dels infants de la mostra, no es descarta la influència d'aquests factors en una altra mostra.

[eng] The present research aims to relate the socioeconomic and family level of children in primary education in the Balearic Islands in order to know to what extent it influences their academic performance. For this purpose, a study has been carried out by means of a form that has been sent to two schools in Mallorca. This has provided detailed information on the socioeconomic and family environment of the children, as well as academic findings. Once the data were obtained, an analysis was carried out to find significant relationships between the answers received. It is important to note that there are several authors and studies that affirm the importance of the role that the family and socioeconomic environment plays on academic performance, which has been used for the foundation of the theoretical framework and research. According to these studies, the influence of these factors may vary depending on the context. Thus, although in this specific research no significant connection was found between the socioeconomic level and the academic performance of the children in the sample, the influence of these factors in another sample is not ruled out.
