Abstract

[spa] ´Sal de Cocó - Ecostay Mallorca’ es un proyecto que pretende ser innovador en determinados aspectos, como el de tener alianzas con otros hoteles/hostels de la isla, apostar por el turismo ecológico y el producto de cercanía, y combinar todo esto con la posibilidad de conocer la isla, sin necesidad de solamente visitar esas zonas más saturadas y dar visibilidad también a otros atractivos tal vez menos conocidos. También se pretende diseñar este proyecto acorde a los planes actuales y de futuro, con tecnologías punteras que nos ayuden en ese aspecto. El hecho de que vivamos en un planeta tan cambiante, con nuevas necesidades a corto y medio plazo a consecuencia del cambio climático, hace necesario modificar aspectos en nuestra forma de vivir, viajar y por supuesto de plantear nuevos negocios como este. Por eso, queremos enfocar ciertos aspectos que creemos claves hacia la modernidad y adaptarlos a los nuevos tiempos y necesidades. A nivel económico, creemos puede resultar un proyecto atractivo para jóvenes y no tan jóvenes, ofreciendo una manera alternativa para viajar y conocer la isla, desmarcándose así del producto típico que se suele ofrecer de paquete turístico predeterminado, enfocado en su gran mayoría al sol y playa.

[eng] ‘Sal de Cocó - Ecostay Mallorca' is a project that aims to be innovative in certain aspects, such as having alliances with other hotels/hostels on the island, focusing on ecological tourism and local products, and combining all this with the possibility of getting to know the island, without the need to only visit the most saturated areas, and also giving visibility to other attractions that are perhaps less well known. It is also intended to design this project, in accordance with current and future plans, with cutting-edge technologies that will help us in this respect. The fact that we live in such a changing planet, with new needs in the short and medium term as a result of climate change, makes it necessary to modify aspects of the way we live, travel and of course, plan new projects such as this one. For this reason, we want to focus on certain aspects that we believe are key to modernity and adapt them to the new times and needs. At an economic level, we believe that it could be an attractive project for young and not so young people, offering an alternative way to travel and get to know the island, thus distancing ourselves from the typical product that is usually offered as a predetermined tourist package, mostly focused on sun and beach.
