Escacs educatius: fomentant el pensament matemàtic a l’aula

[cat] Aquest treball té com a objectiu estudiar la possibilitat d’introduir els escacs com a eina educativa per promoure el pensament matemàtic en l'entorn escolar. Mitjançant un estudi de la feina ja existent, analitzarem la relació entre els escacs i les competències matemàtiques, destacant el seu impacte en el desenvolupament del raonament lògic, la resolució de problemes i la planificació estratègica. També farem una proposta pedagògica sobre com integrar els escacs a l’aula, amb la finalitat de millorar el rendiment acadèmic i el desenvolupament cognitiu dels estudiants. La proposta pedagògica inclou activitats pràctiques, recursos didàctics i estratègies d'avaluació dissenyades per fomentar la participació activa dels estudiants i promoure un aprenentatge significatiu. Aquestes activitats tendran un caire matemàtic, amb el qual els alumnes podran reforçar conceptes matemàtics com l'aritmètica, geometria, àlgebra i estadística mentre juguen i aprenen escacs. A través d'aquest treball, busquem fer una contribució significativa al camp de l'educació matemàtica, demostrant el valor dels escacs com a eina efectiva per enriquir l'ensenyament i l'aprenentatge de les matemàtiques a l'aula.

[eng] This work aims to explore the possibility of introducing chess as an educational tool to promote mathematical thinking in the school environment. By studying existing research, we will analyze the relationship between chess and mathematical competencies, highlighting its impact on the development of logical reasoning, problem-solving, and strategic planning. We will also propose a pedagogical approach to integrating chess into the classroom to improve students' academic performance and cognitive development. The pedagogical proposal includes practical activities, educational resources, and assessment strategies designed to encourage active student participation and promote meaningful learning. These activities will have a mathematical focus, allowing students to reinforce mathematical concepts such as arithmetic, geometry, algebra, and statistics while playing and learning chess. Through this work, we seek to make a significant contribution to the field of mathematics education by demonstrating the value of chess as an effective tool for enriching the teaching and learning of mathematics in the classroom.
