Las bandas de barrio de Palma de Mallorca

Abstract

[eng] This paper is a study of history, conductors and relationships of the four bands of Palma de Mallorca that are located, today, in the neighborhoods of Son Gotleu, Son Rapinya, Son Ferriol and Camp Redó, with an special interest in the best moments they have lived and the obstacles they have had to overcome, the situation and concerts of the four bands in the last fifteen years and the differences they present with respect to their initial moment, to give visibility to each one of them in their area and, to a lesser but necessary extent, to those that died out along the way.

[spa] El presente trabajo es un estudio de la historia, directores y relaciones de las cuatro bandas de Palma de Mallorca que se distribuyen, a día de hoy, en los barrios de Son Gotleu, Son Rapinya, Son Ferriol y Camp Redó, con un especial interés en los momentos álgidos que han vivido y los obstáculos que han debido superar, la situación y conciertos de las cuatro bandas en los últimos quince años y las diferencias que presentan respecto a su momento inicial, para darles visibilidad a cada una de ellas en su ámbito y, en menor pero necesaria medida, a las que se extinguieron por el camino.
