Respuesta educativa al alumnado con precocidad intelectual en centros de las Pitiusas

[spa] La precocidad intelectual y las altas capacidades son una asignatura pendiente que tiene el sistema educativo de las Islas Baleares y más concretamente de las Islas Pitiusas. En este trabajo se ha realizado una investigación a través de un cuestionario online para obtener información sobre las diversas medidas que aplican los docentes en el aula para dar respuesta a las necesidades del colectivo ACI, su formación con respecto a éste, la presencia de prejuicios y creencias irracionales con respecto a la precocidad intelectual y las habilidades sociales de este alumnado. La reducida muestra de participantes no ha permitido que se extraigan conclusiones fiables a partir de los datos obtenidos, pero sí se han detectado indicios que podrían ser de interés para futuras investigaciones en el ámbito de las altas capacidades en Ibiza y Formentera.

[eng] Intellectual precocity and high intellectual capabilities (HIC) are an area that the educational system of the Balearic Islands and more specifically of the Pitiusas Island need to improve on. In this paper an investigation has been carried out through an online questionnaire to obtain data on the various measures that teachers use in classrooms to respond to the needs of HIC students, teacher’s training on responding to these needs, the presence of prejudices, bias or irrational beliefs relating to these students and the social skills of HIC students. The small sample size of the study hasn’t allowed for any reliable conclusions to be extracted, but it has produced some remarkable data that could be useful or interesting for future researchers in the field of high intellectual capabilities in Ibiza and Formentera.
