Análisis de la solvencia bancaria; aplicación a Colonya, Caixa d'Estalvis de Pollença y entidades independientes

[esp] Desde hace algunos años dos conceptos han permanecido unidos: Crisis financiera y mejoras en la regulación de la solvencia bancaria. El sistema financiero asumió, en los años anteriores a la crisis, excesivos riesgos que pusieron en entredicho la regulación bancaria presente hasta el momento. Por ese motivo, se han tomado ciertas medidas para mejorar las condiciones del sector y recuperar la confianza en él. En el presente estudio se analiza la solvencia de una caja de ahorros española en comparación con el resto del sector español, explicando a su vez la regulación bancaria pasada y vigente a nivel general.

[eng] For several years two concepts have remained connected: Financial crisis and improvements in the regulation of bank soundness. The financial system took excessive risks in the years before the crisis, which uncovered weaknesses in the bank regulation. Therefore, some decisions have been taken to improve this sector and restore the confidence on it. In the present paper the soundness of a Spanish saving bank is analysed making a comparison with the whole Spanish financial sector, explaining at the same time the past and the present bank regulation in a global framework.
