Análisis del Impacto Turístico sobre las Haciendas Locales

Abstract

En el análisis realizado se comparan financiación, ingresos y gastos, tributos entre los municipios considerados turísticos y los que no, cuáles son los determinantes que los diferencian y la necesidad de la actividad turística . En Baleares, la clasificación de municipios en turísticos y no turísticos se determina en función de los gastos e ingresos y no en función de la población de los mismos. El turismo genera muchos ingresos pero también obliga a los municipios a elevar sus gastos y deuda para establecer todos los servicios que pueda necesitar el crecimiento poblacional que se produce en la temporada turística

In the performed analysis there are compared financing, income, expenses, and taxes among municipalities which are considered touristic and those which are not, which are the determinants that differentiate them an d the touristic activity need. In the Balearics, the classification among touristic and non - touristic municipalities is determined according to its expenses and income and no acco rding to the population itself. Tourism generates a lot of income, but it also forces municipalities to increase its expenses and debt in order to establish al l services it could need the population growth that occurs during the tourist season
