El Turisme Sostenible com a mecanisme per a la conservació de les zones humides

[cat] D'acord amb les troballes concernents a la magnitud i les causes de la desaparició de zones humides, es detecta l'acció de l'home a zones humides com la causa exclusiva de la destrucció de més de la meitat de les zones humides del planeta. L'acció de l'home correspon a activitats com l'agricultura intensiva, l'extracció de matèries primeres, l'urbanització i el drenatge i desviament d'aigües,etc, que augmenten considerablement les amenaçes de destrucció d'aquests ecosistemes. Aquests usos inadequats avui en dia encara es duen a terme, seguint amb la tendència d'erosionar i degradar aquests hàbitats. Prenent cartes en l'assumpte, amb la finalitat de trobar un escenari ideal que afavoreixi la conservació d'aquests hàbitats tan sensibles al canvi, i al mateix temps faci possible un desenvolupament d'una activitat econòmica inofensiva i innòcua per l'ecosistema. Es descubreix en el turisme sostenible i el seu marc la opció més eficient per compaginar la preservació i el profit econòmic mitjançant la utilizació dels valors estètics i recreatius de les zones humides per a ofertar un producte, que de cada vegada està més demandat i valorat en la societat actual. Demostrant que l'equilibri conservació i profit econòmic és possible, finalment s'intenta motivar i promoure un turisme sostenible

[eng] According to the findings concerning the magnitude and the causes of wetlands loss, the human action in wetlands has been detected as the driver of its destruction. This loss has reached levels of nearly 65% of the total wetlands that once existed. The human action corresponds to the development of activities how for example intensive agriculture, raw materials extraction, urbanisation, water drainage and deviation. This innacurate uses are still continuing nowadays, following its trend to erode and degrade these ecosystems. To step in, with the aim of finding an ideal scenario which could favour the conservation of this fragile habitats and at the same time could help into develope an inoffensive and harmless economic activity for the ecosystem. The sustainable tourism and its atmosphere appears in order to become a tool and the most efficient option to balance preservation and economic profit, taking advantatge of the recreational and aesthetic wetland values to offer a product which is increasingly more valued and demanded by society nowadays. Showing that an equilibrium between conservation and economic profit is possible, finally is attempted to motivate and promote sustainable tourism.
