El acceso a la salud de los inmigrantes en situación irregular en España

[spa] La situación que vive España con la llegada masiva de población inmigrantes en situación irregular, ha supuesto un gran reto. Esta población se encuentra socialmente menos favorecida debido a las distintas oportunidades y recursos en cuestión de salud, es lo que se conoce como desigualdades sociales de la salud. Se realizo una búsqueda bibliográfica de la información disponible sobre acceso a la salud de la población inmigrante en situación irregular. Cabe destacar que esta población tiene muchísimas dificultades para acceder al sistema sanitario debido a su situación y a los obstáculos que se encuentran, relacionado todo eso con los cambios de legislaciones vividos en los sistemas de salud. En España, en el último año ha dado un retroceso en cuestión de salud por el nuevo decreto sacado por el Gobierno al que no se le permite el acceso a la población inmigrante en situación irregular. En definitiva, haremos un repaso a través de las diferentes legislaciones que existen en la Unión Europea y los obstáculos que sufre para acceder al sistema sanitario la población inmigrante en situación irregular.

[eng] The situation in Spain with a population influx of illegal immigrants has been a great challenge. This population is socially less favored because of the different opportunities and health resources, commonly known as social inequalities in health. We performed a literature search of the available information on access to health care of immigrants in an irregular situation. Note that this population is extremely difficult to access the health system due to its location and the obstacles encountered all this related with the legislation changes experienced in health systems. In the last years, there has been a setback in Spain in terms of health by the new decree taken by the government which not allows access to the illegal immigrant population. In short, we will review through the various laws that exist in the European Union the obstacles suffered when accessing the healthcare system.
