dc.description.abstract [spa] Objectives: to analyse which physiotherapy techniques are the most effective in the treatment of fibromyalgia and its symptoms. Methods: research has been carried out on the main databases related to health sciences PUBMED, PEDRO, COCHRANE LIBRARY PLUS, CINAHL EBSCO HOST, SCOPUS. (2009 -2016). Results: 349 studies were identified as potentially relevant. Out of these, 281 were discarded either because they did not fulfil the inclusion criteria or because they did not provide any information different from other articles used for the current paper. After that, the remaining 30 articles were examined and included in this paper. Conclusions: Even if there exists a wide range of current techniques to treat fibromyalgia, their benefits have been proved to be limited. Despite that aerobic exercise Is frequently found in scientific evidence, further research is needed in order to find more effective techniques for patients with fibromyalgia. ca
