Un anàlisi de dades per un turisme més sotenible a Menorca

Abstract

[cat] En aquest treball, el tema que s’aborda és el concepte de desenvolupament sostenible per aplicar-lo adientment al turisme de Menorca. Així, es porta a terme un anàlisi sobre si, tant les persones que estan donant suport als serveis per atendre el turista, com el conjunt de l’oferta turista a Menorca, actuen d’acord amb els principis de sostenibilitat. Concepte clau per poder gaudir a dies d’avui i en un futur, d’una meravellosa illa com és Menorca. Per dur a terme aquesta objectiu, el primer que s’ha fet es, extreure la màxima informació sobre una sèrie d’indicadors, recollits a la pàgina web de l’Observatori Socioambiental de Menorca (OBSAM). Desprès s’ha analitzat la seva evolució, donant més importància als punts d’inflexió donants al llarg dels períodes. Amb tot això s’han extret algunes conclusions. Per últim, s’ha incorporat algunes limitacions i perspectives de futur. Així doncs, hem tancat aquest buidatge quedant-nos amb la idea que la població de Menorca, tendeix a cercar un turisme més sostenible. Encara que hi ha molt a millorar mitjançant la introducció i aplicació de polítiques i mesures que ho afavoreixin.

[eng] In this research, I talk about the concept of sustainable development and the way to apply it to the Menorcan tourism. My evaluation is to know if either the persons who create the best services focused on the tourists or the global touristic offer in Menorca work according to the sustainable rules. That is the main concept to enjoy nowadays but also in the future of this wonderful island. To obtain this aim I looked for the information relating with the tourist on the “Observatori Socioambiental de Menorca (OBSAM)” website. Afterwards I analyzed the main points and made some conclusions. Finally I explained the limitations that I found and I introduced some prospect for the future. In conclusion, I notice that the Menorcan population is looking for a sustainable tourism. But there are still a lot of improvement to make for instance with introduction and enforcement of new policies.
