resolució de problemes matemàtics i com fer-hi front.
[eng] This paper provides relevant information on the influence of negative emotions on
mathematical problem-solving. Numerous studies have confirmed the clear relationship
between the emotional part and the learning process, where emotions play a key role in the
acquisition of meaningful knowledge. Within the field of mathematics, there are many
emotions that children experience when solving a mathematical problem. However, it has
been shown that most of them tend to be of a negative and adverse nature, which according to
many authors is a major issue because they create a barrier that hinders learning. In order to
observe and analyze this issue in greater depth, a study and follow-up of third cycle primary
school pupils in a school in Mallorca was carried out, focusing on the presence of frustration,
anxiety, and boredom during problem-solving. Based on the results obtained, a proposal for
improvement has been drawn up to help reduce these emotions, so that pupils can continue
and enjoy their learning-learning process.
