Vulnerabilidad social de los hijos de inmigrantes en España

[spa] La migración es en la actualidad uno de los procesos sociales que más está trasformando las sociedades tanto en los países receptores como en los de origen. Los inmigrantes son especialmente vulnerables en la sociedad española debido a sus características físicas que son diferentes a la población española, ya que actualmente ser inmigrante no facilita la integración de la persona en la comunidad. Para ello, es necesario que se deje a un lado el asimilacionismo y la multiculturalidad y se opte por una interculturalidad donde no existan jerarquías étnicas ni razas, ya que si no existieran las razas no habría racismo. Si se traslada la inmigración al ámbito educativo se observa una gran vulnerabilidad de la segunda generación de inmigrantes. La escuela es una potente herramienta de integración para los menores, por lo que se puede aprovechar como un buen recurso para ello. Un hecho esencial que afecta a los hijos de inmigrantes nacidos en España es la etapa del proceso migratorio en la que se encuentran los padres al nacer los niños, provocando efectos negativos en su adultez, puesto que existen procesos cognitivos, motivacionales y afectivos que influyen en el proceso de adaptación en la propia comunidad.

Immigrants are particularly vulnerable in Spanish society due to their physical characteristics that are different from the Spanish population, because currently being an immigrant does not facilitate the integration of the person into the community. If immigration is transferred to the educational sphere, there is a high vulnerability of the second generation of immigrants. The school is a powerful tool of assimilation and integration for minors, so it can be used as a good resource for it. An essential fact affecting the children of immigrants born in Spain is the stage of the migration process in which parents find themselves at birth, causing negative effects on their adulthood, since there are cognitive, motivational and affective processes that influence the process of adaptation in the community itself.
