El contacte amb la natura a les escoles: del pati al jardí

Abstract

[cat] Cal replantejar-se la importància del contacte amb la natura a la primera infància, proporcionant així des dels centres espais exteriors que afavoreixin el benestar i la millora de la qualitat de vida dels més petits. Parlem doncs, d’un canvi de concepte, on els patis de les escoles es converteixin en jardins, llocs plens d’oportunitats on els nens juguin alhora que aprenguin, manipulin, explorin i observin les seves capacitats. Espais bells i càlids, els quals proporcionin sensibilitat, delicadesa, cura i emoció. Llocs on sorgeixin preguntes, interrogants o dubtes; en definitiva, espais beneficiosos per l’organisme. Aquest treball pretén impulsar aquest canvi de mentalitat del pati al jardí, a banda d’oferir informació sobre la importància de la natura a edats primerenques. Així doncs, la investigació consta d’una recerca bibliogràfica i evidències científiques sobre la temàtica. Serà a partir d’aquests resultats com es realitzarà el disseny d’un espai exterior, el qual ofereix-hi eines i estratègies als centres interessats en la transformació dels seus espais. L’objectiu principal és animar a totes les escoles d’infantil al canvi de visió dels espais exteriors, on aquests siguin vists com a llocs d’aprenentatge i no simples espais exclusius de l’esbarjo i la diversió.

[eng] It’s time to think about the importance of nature and education in early childhood. It’s necessary offer beautiful calm spaces with improve the quality of live. We talk about outdoors, spaces full of opportunities where the children play at the same time to learn, manipulate, explore and see their capabilities. There are beautiful calm spaces which provide sensibility, calmness and emotion. There are spaces where new questions and doubts arise. In short, we talk about places that are beneficial to our body. This document is trying to show a sense of change about playgrounds and show the existing importance of contact between children and nature, so as to analyse the influence of infantile development. When we have the results of the evidence, we will design our playground, which will offer a lot of strategies or tips to all schools interested. The main goal is to encourage all kindergartens to change their view of outdoor spaces where they are seen as places of learning and not just spaces for recreation and fun.
