'Mi Barrio-Mi Escuela' Programa Artístico Socioeducativo: Voces Críticas para Valorar su Eficacia y Eficiencia.

Abstract

[eng] This study is part of the ongoing R+D+i project 'Re-inhabiting the Neighbourhood: The Transformation Process of Empowerment among Universities-Schools and Society through Artistic Practices'. The project seeks to contribute to the social transformation and citizen empowerment of the 'Nou Llevant-Soledat Sud' a neighbourhood in Palma (Balearic Islands) and is composed of three general aims: to design a transdisciplinary artistic program of socio-educational intervention; to implement this program in an underprivileged and marginal peripheral neighbourhood and to evaluate the program and its impact in the educational, artistic, social and cultural fields. Through one of the evaluation instruments such as the one offered by the interview and the focus groups, this text obtains the opinion of the university students and the primary school teachers who participated in the program. By establishing paths for dialogue from a qualitative approach, this technique has allowed us to obtain valuable information and has helped us to check the evolution of the project and has also made us able to detect some mistakes in the course of the different programmed activities and finally it has offered us reflective knowledge for future interventions.
