Anàlisi de dos cançoners mallorquins del segle XVII

Abstract

[cat] Aquesta tesi consisteix en l’anàlisi de dos manuscrits poètics mallorquins del segle XVII. Un d’ells es troba a Montserrat i forma part del fons Aiamans; l’altre fou propietat de Gabriel Llabrés i actualment es troba a l’Arxiu Municipal de Palma. Per les característiques que presenten aquests documents podríem considerar-los cançoners, en el sentit que són un recull de poesies de procedència diversa. Algunes de les composicions estan musicades, especialment al manuscrit de l’Arxiu Municipal. Les llengües usades són el català i el castellà, amb alguna excepció (llatí a un text del de Montserrat i italià a un poema del de l’Arxiu Municipal). De les que estan en castellà n’hi ha d’autors diversos, entre els quals Góngora i Lope de Vega. Les catalanes, en canvi, a menys que estiguin atribuïdes a algun autor, semblen anònimes; en tot cas, no les hem sabut identificar. Algunes notes als marges, a la portada o als fulls finals donen dades sobre persones que en alguns casos hem pogut identificar. En definitiva, aquest estudi forneix material poc conegut i una reinterpretació del manuscrit de Montserrat.

[spa] Esta tesis consiste en el análisis de dos manuscritos poéticos mallorquines del siglo XVII. Uno de ellos se encuentra en Montserrat y forma parte del fondo Aiamans; el otro perteneció a Gabriel Llabrés y actualmente se encuentra en el Archivo Municipal de Palma. Por las características que presentan estos documentos, podríamos considerarlos cancioneros, en el sentido de ser una recopilación de poesías de procedencia diversa. Algunas de las composiciones están musicadas, especialmente en el manuscrito del Archivo Municipal. Las lenguas usadas son el catalán y el castellano, con alguna excepción (latín en un texto del de Montserrat e italiano en un poema del Archivo Municipal). Entre las que están en castellano las hay de diversos autores, entre los cuales Góngora y Lope de Vega. Las catalanas, en cambio, a menos que estén atribuïdes a algún autor, parecen anónimas; en todo caso, no las hemos podido identificar. En definitiva, este estudio proporciona material poco conocido y una reinterpretación del manuscrito de Montserrat.

[eng] This thesis is based on the analysis of two Majorcan poetic manuscripts of the seventeenth century. One of them can be found at Montserrat and is part of the Aiamans legacy; the other one belonged to Gabriel Llabrés and nowadays is kept at Palma’s Municipal Archive. According to the characteristics shown in these documents, we can consider them a collection of lyrical poems, as they contain poetry from different sources. Some of the pieces have been set to music, especially on the manuscript kept in the Municipal Archive. The languages used are Catalan and Spanish, with some exceptions (Latin in a text of Montserrat manuscript and Italian in a poem of the one kept in the Municipal Archive). In Spanish there are some poems belonging to different authors, among them Góngora and Lope de Vega. The Catalan poems, on the contrary, if not attributed to some author, seem to be anonymous; in any case, we haven’t been able to identify them. Some marginal notes on the title page or on the final pages give information about people we have been able to identify in some cases. In conclusion, this study provides less known material and a reinterpretation of the manuscript of Montserrat.
