[eng] The 2030 Agenda has defined a new international framework that sets the goals for the promotion of sustainable development (SD). In this framework, universities should fulfill their fundamental role in society of training future professionals who can participate in raising awareness and promoting these values and, specifically, those related to sustainability, equality, and equity. At the same time, academic and administrative staff must acquire environmental and egalitarian values that must be transmitted through their professional, teaching, and research practice. The Faculty of Education of the University of the Balearic Islands (Spain) has created the First Sustainability, Equality, and Equity Action Plan (2021–2124). The process followed for the design and validation of this plan is presented. In the first draft, Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) were considered, toward which the plan should be oriented, as well as the objectives, actions and evaluation indicators. The document was submitted for reviewing by 10 experts from the university community (students, teachers, members of university services) through an evaluation questionnaire, which was complemented by a discussion group. The result is a plan in which the goals for the SD of the Faculty of Education are represented in relation to the 11 SDG.
