[eng] In today’s societies around the world, English has spread through technology and helps
people from all over the globe communicate with each other. In each society, there are
people who speak English better than others, due to their professional careers, or because
they are interested in learning new things. Some others, because it satisfies a basic need.
In Spain’s case, the younger generations speak better English than their predecessors, even
when they all have been in school for many years, having English classes. But that is the
problem. How come not many speak English well? Is it the teacher's training? Or is it
because there is no interest in that language?
I have made a small survey to find out, and I have prepared some activity proposals to do in
the classroom with the children. I should clarify that when I say infant school, I mean children
who are 0-3 years olds and their , and when I say kindergarten, they are 3-6 years old. |
