dc.description.abstract	[eng] Nélida by Marie d'Agoult and the thirst for ideal After her definitive separation of Franz Liszt, Marie Catherine Sophie de Flavigny, Countess of Agoult, published an impulsive novel with a high autobiographical content, Nélida that can be considered a romance novel. This very controversial novel with a key (roman à clefs) depicts a woman with a thirst for ideal. It is with this original idea that Marie d'Agoult wanted to present her book that unfortunately was not received this way. We analyze what this 'impossible ideality' is that the protagonist seeks in vain in the religious life, the marriage, the passionate love and the social charity.	en
