[cat] El propòsit del present treball és estudiar la Comèdia dels prínceps de l’Església sant Pere i sant Pau, obra anònima i inèdita de 2.618 versos, i que pertany al corpus de teatre hagiogràfic mallorquí del segle xviii. Estructurada en tres jornades, i alternant una trama profana amb una trama religiosa, l’obra té com a leitmotiv el tema de la mort en la seva dimensió política, social, individual i eclesiàstica. Per aquestes característiques, l’obra es presenta com a paradigmàtica de l’època barroca i constitueix una mostra d’interès documental considerable per al coneixement del patrimoni teatral, literari i espiritual de la Mallorca setcentista. [eng] The purpose of this work is to study the Comèdia dels prínceps de l’Església sant Pere i sant Pau, an anonymous and unpublished work of 2,618 lines, which belongs to the corpus of Majorcan hagiographic eighteenth-century drama. Structured in three days of performance, and alternating a profane plot with a religious one, the play has as a leitmotif the theme of death in its political, social, individual, and ecclesiastical dimensions. Due to these characteristics, the work is presented as paradigmatic of the Baroque era and constitutes a sample of considerable documentary interest for the knowledge of the theatrical, literary and spiritual heritage of eighteenth-century Majorca.
