Desenvolupament del llenguatge i la narrativa en infants de 3 i 4 anys

Abstract

[cat] El present treball consisteix en un estudi sobre el desenvolupament del llenguatge i de la capacitat narrativa en infants d’entre tres i quatre anys. A partir de les dades obtingudes, es du a terme una anàlisi per identificar i classificar les etapes del desenvolupament lingüístic en les quals se situen els infants participants, seguint el model proposat per Tomassello i Brooks (1999); així com les estructures narratives que utilitzen en les seves produccions, amb el model plantejat per Applebee (1978) com a referència. Es plantegen les següents hipòtesis: el desenvolupament cognitiu afavoreix la millora de l’expressió verbal i, per tant, de la capacitat narrativa, la qual es confirma; i la possibilitat de trobar diferències de gènere, la qual es refuta. Finalment, es presenten les conclusions, juntament amb les limitacions trobades en l’estudi i algunes recomanacions per a les futures investigacions relacionades amb el tema.

[eng] The present work consists of a study about the development of language and narrative ability in children between three and four years old. Based on the data obtained, an analysis is carried out to identify and classify the stages of linguistic development in which the participating children are, following the model proposed by Tomassello and Brooks (1999); as well as the narrative structures they use in their productions, with the model proposed by Applebee (1978) as a reference. The following hypotheses are proposed: cognitive development benefits the improvement of verbal expression and, therefore, narrative ability, which is confirmed; and the possibility of finding gender differences, which is refuted. Finally, the conclusions are presented, together with the limitations found in the study and some recommendations for future research related to this subject.
